Automation Mobile QA Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Team

You'll play a pivotal role within our agile team, spearheading the development of the Mobile SDK for Gini's Photo Payment products, customized for our banking industry clients. Working closely with the entire platform team, you'll serve as the sole specialist for quality assurance, assuming full responsibility for defining, designing, and implementing all QA standards.

Your playing field at Gini

You start with writing Test Scenarios and automation strategies
You plan and prioritize testing activities and identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
You are responsible for tracking software bugs and investigating the causes and pointing out problem areas
You will handle the Stack of Testing Devices and will be responsible for managing them onsite
You do the troubleshooting automation software issues
You prioritize and execute tests on mobile devices and review technical specifications and design documents,
You monitor assurance metrics and process results
You create test plans and prepare detailed test reports

Skills to be successful

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, including 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or relevant position in the IT department
You have strong expertise in software development processes, agile frameworks and tools, familiar with Atlassian Jira, and Confluence
You have Proven experience in Native Testing. Android as well as iOS is required.
You have thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards, types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
You have strong expertise in testing frameworks for Mobile Apps using Kotlin for Android (Espresso and/or UI Automator) and Swift for iOS (XCTest, XCUITest)
You are familiar with testing RESTful APIs and may automate it using adequate frameworks.
You have experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and an undertanding of automation systems and database concepts to the extent of writing queries (e.g., Graylog, Kibana)
You are a self driven personality and taking responsibility is one of your core strengths
You have strong communication skills (English, C1) to challenge and question current testing, and you describe yourself as a detail-oriented, results-driven, and reliable person

Du wirst eine zentrale Rolle in unserem agilen Team übernehmen und die Entwicklung des mobilen SDK für Ginis Foto-Zahlungsprodukte, maßgeschneidert für unsere Bankkunden, vorantreiben. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem gesamten Plattformteam wirst du als einziger Spezialistin für Qualitätsprüfung fungieren und die volle Verantwortung für die Definition, Gestaltung und Umsetzung aller Qualitätsstandards übernehmen.

Deine Aufgaben bei Gini

Dein Aufgabenbereich umfasst das Erstellen von Test-Szenarien und die Entwicklung von Automatisierungsstrategien.
Du planst und priorisierst Testaktivitäten und identifizierst Schwachstellen und Problembereiche in der Softwareanwendung. Außerdem behebst du Probleme mit der Automatisierungssoftware.
Du priorisierst und führst Tests auf mobilen Geräten durch und überprüfst technische Spezifikationen und Design-Dokumente
Du betreust die Testgeräte und bist für deren Verwaltung vor Ort verantwortlich
Du überwachst Qualitätssicherungsmetriken und verarbeitest Prozess-Ergebnisse
Du erstellst Testpläne und bereitest detaillierte Testberichte vor

Dein Profil, um erfolgreich zu sein

Du hast einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Software Engineering, Informatik oder Informationstechnologie und verfügst über mehr als 4 Jahre Erfahrung als QA Engineer, QA Tester oder in einer ähnlichen Position
Du bringst fundierte Kenntnisse in Softwareentwicklungsprozessen, agilen Frameworks und Tools mit und bist vertraut mit Atlassian Jira und Confluence
Deine Expertise erstreckt sich auf das Native Testing von Android und iOS
Du besitzt gute Kenntnisse von Qualitätssicherungsmethoden, Standards und Testverfahren wie White-Box- und Black-Box-Tests
